Managed by a professionally trained and experienced counsellor, this space allows students to experience play therapy to discuss their concerns in a confidential setting, helping them navigate challenges and build resilience. 

Classroom Library

The Library is a well-stocked resource centre, designed to foster a love for reading and knowledge in students. With a vast collection of books, from fiction and non-fiction it serves as a hub for both leisure reading and academic exploration. The comfortable and quiet atmosphere created during silent reading classes makes it an ideal place for students to dive into the world of books. Their engagement is further supported and encouraged with various reading programmes and activities through the year. 
 

Book Fair

Book Fairs in the Junior School are organised in collaboration with various publishers and bookstores to promote a love of reading. These fairs give students the opportunity to explore a diverse range of books across different genres and discover new authors, fostering a vibrant reading culture.

Art Show

The Art Show at the Junior School celebrates the artistic brilliance of each child featuring a wide range of artworks, including traditional Indian art, captivating 3D creations, doodle art, nature art, and innovative digital pieces. This event emphasises the importance of creativity and limitless imagination.

Poetry Month

With an aim to encourage the appreciation of poetry as a form of literature and recognize how poetry captures one’s creative spirit, the children of Junior School celebrated the Poetry Month in the month of April. The children explore the world of poetry by immersing themselves in various activities from poetry recitation on various themes, engaging in discussions and poetry appreciation looking at rhyme, mood, rhythm, types of poems, and attempting writing acrostics, limericks, haikus etc. 
 

Disability Awareness Month

The month of October each year is observed as the Disability Awareness Month to promote inclusivity and understanding. The special educators lead interactive sessions with students, teachers and parents on Awareness, Acceptance, and Action in connection with the different invisible disabilities encompassing learning disabilities and invite all to engage with and understand neurodiversity better. Students participate in activities like skits, songs, and poster-making to express their learning with the aim of building a supportive environment for all. 
 

Bake Sales and NGO Play Dates

The Junior School hosts bake sales collaboratively organised by teachers, parents, and students to raise funds to help plan play dates with children from different NGOs. During the playdates children from different NGOs across the city visit the school and play games, do art activities or sing songs and dance with our students. The play date ends with a gift given to the children form the NGO's by our students. This activity enriches the day of our students and those from the NGO with fun, camaraderie, excitement doing what children do best - play together.

Fun Fair

The most popular annual event, the Junior School Fun Fair transforms the school environment into a festive wonderland, with enchanting decorations creating a vibrant atmosphere. Children enjoy playing games, savouring delicious food, and filling their bags with goodies and gifts. It’s a day of pure joy and excitement for all.

Grandparents' Day

Each year, the little stars of Junior School fill Grandparents’ Day with joy and love. The children sing songs, while some grandparents join in for an impromptu dance and sing-along. Handmade cards and personalised gifts are created by the students. Grandparents share their wisdom with the students, and video messages of those unable to attend are shown. A photo booth captures special moments, and the event ends with tea and refreshments. The day strengthens bonds and leaves lasting memories.
