Our Pre-Primary curriculum is child-centric, blending structured learning with play-based methods. It focuses on cognitive, emotional, and physical development through a variety of activities that spark curiosity and foster creativity. The syllabus integrates language skills, numeracy, environmental awareness, and social development, ensuring a holistic foundation for lifelong learning. Teachers create nurturing environments that balance academics with hands-on activities, building confidence and a love for learning in every child. Life Skills run the gamut from the concrete skill of deciding ’what to wear’ to the abstract decision of ‘choosing friends.’ The key Life Skill would be “good decision making” in all spheres of our lives. This skill is not innate. It is learnt through repetition and practice. The Pre-Primary Section provides an environment where children are encouraged to develop certain life skills like respect, responsibility and independence through teaching and connected activities.

We encourage them to enhance their:
 1. Social Skills through basic manners and greeting elders on their own, without being reminded.
 2. Self-help Skills based on problem-solving in daily life, like wearing their shoes, packing their school bag, wearing a raincoat, changing clothes, laying a mat and arranging their break box and bottle at break time, eating without spilling their food, learning through a clothes washing activity, drying them on a line and pegging them, making sandwiches and lemonade, making candles, reusing old newspaper to make bags, learning how to read a calendar and a clock, etc.
 3. Organisational Skills keeping their classroom neat and tidy, putting away their toys, putting away work-sheets, crayon boxes, working systematically while following instructions, carrying messages home.
 4. Sense of Responsibility caring for the environment by being kind to all living creatures, especially in the garden, looking after it, watering plants, cleaning the garden, looking after School property, furniture, books, etc.

Our Pre-Primary Section emphasizes the development of essential life skills alongside academic growth. Through engaging and hands-on activities, children learn values such as responsibility, respect, empathy and independence. These experiences nurture their social, emotional, and physical development, preparing them for a well-rounded future.
