Not Just a Game—A Movement in Action!

What started as a conversation with Project Mumbai has transformed into an inspiring student-led initiative at The Cathedral & John Connon School! Our young changemakers didn’t just hear about Mumbai’s wheelchair basketball team and their challenges—they took action.
 

Within 24 hours, our students launched a fundraiser to support these incredible athletes, raising both awareness and vital funds. But they didn’t stop there—some even stepped into wheelchairs themselves, experiencing the game firsthand in front of nearly 500 cheering students. Their message was loud and clear: this isn’t just about charity—it’s about commitment to inclusivity.
 

Through this initiative, Cathedral proudly stands with Project Mumbai’s ‘Mumbai—Inclusive and Accessible for All’ campaign, working towards a city where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
